He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Edmund and Viola Deis (Kolker); his son Casey Deis; his siblings, Denny Deis and Maria Wegh; his granddaughter Kayla Conway; and his daughter-in-law Beth McElroy Deis.
He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Deis (Hoagland) of Windsor Twp; his children, Theresa Hayes (Jeff), Robin Blanchard (Scott) and Anthony Deis of Windsor Twp; his grandchildren, Aaron, Christian and Andrew Deis; and his sister Diana Ingram of Kettering. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
