It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerry David DeYoung of Windham, Ohio, born in Ravenna, Ohio, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus DeYoung and Lina DeYoung (Harris); his siblings, Kenneth DeYoung and Alberta Ellwood; his siblings-in-law, Bob Ellwood and Wanda DeYoung; and his nephew Gregory Dienes Jr..
He is survived by: his dear buddy Archie; his wife Mary DeYoung; his children, Matthew DeYoung (Susan), Zachary Dienes, Maria Dienes (Todd Tousant), Kasey Dienes (Anna Krause) and Carolyn Wysong (Jason); his brother Jack DeYoung; and his sister-in-law Judy DeYoung. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, his great-grandchild.
