He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lytle and Mary Ruth Ball (Blake); his son Phillip Ball; and his siblings, Charlie, James, Fred Ball and Grace Sluss.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Ball of Winchester; his children, Jerry Ball of New Market, Scott Ball of Hillsboro, Branden Ball (Danielle) of Williamsburg and Shannon Papania of Ash Ridge; and his brother Ed Ball. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bethlehem Church of Christ or Russellville Masonic Lodge #166.
