He was predeceased by: his mother Bonita Sue Oberschlake; his son Gabriel DeLong; his brothers, Jerry and Larry DeLong; and his grandparents, William, Virginia DeLong, James Carl and Edna Mae Keen.

He is survived by: his wife Niki DeLong (Jones); his children, Noah of Winchester, Eli DeLong of Winchester and Hayley Parrett of Winchester; his father Raymond Oberschlake of Lynchburg; his sisters, Sandra Baisden of Delbarton, WV and Sharon Turner of Van Lear, KY; his mother-in-law Lou Ann Jones (Mike Marsh) of Winchester; and his sister-in-law Samantha Jones. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
