It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Eugene Jones of Winchester, Ohio, who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Jones and Inez Jones (Ruggles); his wife Judith "Judy" Jones (Wilhoff); and his siblings, Jesse Jones, Jr. and Mary Ann Patterson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Blair (Lloyd) of Winchester, Lisa Jones of West Union, Sally Baird (Tim) of Winchester, Rhonda Holbrook (Brian) of Manchester and Vicky DeBord (Fred) of West Union; and his siblings, Clyde Jones of Williamsburg, Gary Jones of Cincinnati, Pat Jones of New Richmond, Barb Jones of Mt. Orab, Pam Jones of Mt. Orab and Carol Patterson of Bethel. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bradford-Sullivan Chapel (19306 OH-136, Winchester, OH 45697). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
