He was predeceased by: his parents, Tassel Gardner and Lottie Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Gardner (Newman); his children, Lawanda Carrell (John), Kenneth Jr. Gardner (Linda), Connie Gardner, Donna Bryan (Charley), Cindy Gardner and Kelly Gardner (Ken); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Jamie, Stephanie and Heather.
