She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gray and Florence Gray (Kennedy); and her siblings, Woodrow Gray, Helen Barlow, Wilma Dean and Frances Corbin.
She is survived by: her husband James R. Abbott; her children, Colleen Shoemaker (Neil) of Winchester, Cathleen Gill (Michael) of Centerville and Patrick Abbott (Melinda) of Minturno; her grandchildren, Matthew McIntire, Marlene McIntire-Roller (Brian), Douglas Gill (Jan) and Susan Gill-Powell (George); her great grandchildren, Erin Rosselot-Dismuke, Jordan McIntire, Andrew Gill, Elaine Gill, Nathan Powell and Brian Powell; and her siblings-in-law, Earl Abbott and Leola Gray.
