He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh C. Vance and Margene Cadwallader Vance; and his sister Wanda Vance. He is survived by: his wife Janet Snell Vance; his children, Hugh Vance (JoEllen) of Wilmington, Ron Vance of Cincinnati, Jon Vance (Cheryl) of McCordsville, Ray Vance (Patty) of Washington, C. H. and Amy Luttrell (John) of Sabina, Ohio; his siblings, Nanetta Bradley (Jim) of Wilmington, Ohio and David C. Vance of Wilmington, Ohio; his grandchildren, Molly Taylor (Hamish), Hayley Humberstone (Matt), Will Vance (Meg), Neil Vance, Lianne Pierce (Todd), Justin Vance (Traci), Kara Vance, Amber Angles (Scott), Jacob Vance (Nicole Parrales), Jared Luttrell (Rachel), Kelsey Luttrell and Levi Luttrell; and his great grandchildren, Liam Taylor, Dillon Taylor, Riley Taylor, Milli Humberstone, John Hugh Humberstone, Timothy Vance, Marjorie Pierce, Elizabeth Pierce, Addison Vance, Jase Vance, Gabriel Vance, Josephine Angles, Jack Luttrell, Emilia Luttrell and Henry Luttrell.
