With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilber Leroy Hosler Jr. of Wilmington, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 85. As Wilber departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Wilber may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Wilber leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur L. Hosler, Sr. and Inez Hosler (Smith); his granddaughter Andrea Sue Barfell; and his sister Christina Huff. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Hosler; and his daughter Deborah Leonard (Don) of Leesburg.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Turner & Son Funeral Home (602 N High St, Hillsboro, OH 45133). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery - Leesburg.
