It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Wayne Blackburn of Wilmington, Ohio, who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Stanley is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Stanley's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hollie B. Hall and Stanley E. Blackburn; his wife Julie Durbin; his sons, Bill (Michelle), Brad (Emily) and Matt (Danielle); and his sister Connie Spitzley. He was also cherished by many extended family members and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilmington Elks Lodge #797 (2593 Rombach Ave, Wilmington, OH 45177).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Heartland Hospice of Washington Court House or The Guiding Grayson's Fight against CLN3 Batten Disease, a cause close to Stanley's heart.
