He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Whitaker and Adeline Lee Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Laura Jane Gibson Whitaker; his sons, Robert Lane (Sue) of Mt. Orab, Mike Whitaker (Jenni) of Celina and Jason Whitaker (Erin) of Blanchester, Ohio; his grandchildren, Samantha Attinger (Britany), Dalton Lane (Sabrina), Jacob Whitaker, Chase Whitaker, Madison Whitaker, Avin Whitaker and Ainsley Whitaker; his great grandchildren, Dakota Lane, Brooklyn Attinger and Paisley Attinger; and his brother Larry Whitaker.
