He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertsell Curtis and Ruth Roberta Caplinger Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Curtis of Wilmington; his children, Robyn Hinman (Dave), Debbie Pratt (Stan) and Craig Curtis of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Megan Murphy (Nick), Dr. Ryan Hinman (Lucinda), Brooke Curtis, Rachel Hinman, Dr. Brittany Curtis, Betsy Brooks (J. D.) and Jordan Pratt (Megan); and his brother Clifford Curtis (Patricia) of Wilmington. He is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren.
