He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Shelton and Reba Shelton; his granddaughter Jennifer Willison; and his siblings, Shirley Huston, Dorothy Coonrod, Raymond, Donald, Leonard and David Shelton.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff "Butch" Shelton (Lillian) of Wilmington and Valerie Scott (Brent) of Jamestown; his grandchildren, Ashley Bezold (Josh) of Clarksville, Travis Willison of Xenia, Josh Wilson of Wilmington and Phillip Willison of Xenia; and his brother Stanley Shelton of Texas. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
