He was predeceased by: his wife Jill L. Penix; and his parents, Marvin Donald "Don" Penix and Jo Ann Williams Penix. He is survived by: his brother Keith Penix of Hillsboro, Ohio; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry L. Getter (Denise) of Vandalia, Michael C. Getter (Suggar) of Lewisburg and Jack R. Getter (Bert) of Lewisburg, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
