It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael James Gallagher of Wilmington, Ohio, born in Rochester, Indiana, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Morrell and Katherine Jane Gallagher (Bull); his sisters, Maureen "Mo" Dahle-Melsaether and Patricia "Pat" Gallagher; his parents-in-law, Marion and Mathilda Lamb; and his brothers-in-law, Ole Dahl-Melsaether and Wayne Lamb (Kathy).
He is survived by: his wife Joan C. Gallagher (Lamb); his children, Brenna Rose (Darin) of Xenia, Brian Gallagher (Buffy) of Kenosha and Chris Gallagher (Katy) of Cincinnati, Ohio; his grandsons, Alexander Gallagher, Andrew Gallagher and Austin Gallagher (Alexis); his great grandchild Finnley; his brother Tom Gallagher (Margaret) of Florida; his brother-in-law William Lamb (Judy) of Indiana; his nieces and nephews, Bryan Dahle-Melsaether (Jennifer), Mark Dahle-Melsaether (Tricia), Dawn Bantly (David), Sean Gallagher (Jennifer), Scott Gallagher (Stacy), Shane Gallagher (Sheila), Karen Gudorf (Bob), Patti Bontempo (Jeff), David Lamb (Lisa), Tia Allor and Tillie Lamb (Jarod Morgan); and his close friend Ben Crow (Janie) of Somerset, Kentucky.. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends.
