She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Meredith "Ted" Haynie and Clara Catherine Walker Haynie; her great grandchild Ari Davis; her brother Harold Gene Haynie; and her brothers-in-law, Marion Harris and Bob Foster.
She is survived by: her husband William E. Kennedy; her daughter Robin Davis (Bryan); her siblings, Lois Jene Bratton (Eddie), Carolyn K. Harris, Joyce Haynie Foster, Esther Brinkman, Karen Sue Haynie, Donna Lou Haines (Loren), Martha Jo Milliken, James Edward Haynie (Shirley) and William Allen Haynie; her grandchildren, Robert Davis, Cameron Phelps, Zak Phelps and Samantha Vaughn; and her pet Henry.
