She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Harris Neal and John Neal; and her sister Ruth Shumaker. She is survived by: her husband Robert Newkirk; her daughters, Becky Carroll (Bennie) of Wilmington and Sandy Ingold (Richard) of Lexington, Kentucky; her siblings, Helen Neikirk of Huber Heights, Ohio and Johnny Neal (Joyce) of Ravenna, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Danielle Brewer (Blake), Brett Waldrop (Lexy), Cameron Carroll (Candice), Clay Carroll, Sarah Brooks Carroll and Stanley "Bear" Ingold (Tabitha); and her great grandchildren, Tanna Blake Brewer, Parker Waldrop and Ryder Carroll.
