He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Howell and Juanita Howell (Straight); his grandson Eric Greene; and his sister Cleo Howell. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his daughters, Karen Eifert (Ken) of Troy, Kathy Borton (Craig) of Wilmington and Kimberly Snyder (Damian) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Evan W. Greene (Ashley) of Lore City, Andrew "Andy" Borton of Wilmington, Alan Borton (Alisha) of Wilmington, Raegan Eltzroth (Dylan) of Defiance, Brynne Snyder of Wilmington, Kari Jo Snyder of Wilmington, Tiffany Cochran (Bill) of Columbus and Christopher Eifert of Columbus; his great grandchildren, Ty Greene, Justin Greene, Savannah Greene, Sydney Greene, Asher Cochran, Natalie Borton and Elizabeth "Charlie" Borton; and his siblings, Linda Garland of Virginia and Leroy Howell of Sabina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
