James Winkleman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Winkleman of Wilmington, Ohio, born in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, who passed away on July 7, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Andy and Sena Winkleman (Buckner); and his brothers, Ralph, Allie, Dale, Curtis and Ronnie Winkleman.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Gay Winkleman (Sparks); his children, Betsy S. (James Coleman) of Hillsboro, Joyce (Scott Shelton) of Hillsboro, Joseph Winkleman of Wilmington and Alberta (Chris Ecklar) of Ft. Wright, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Danielle Henry (Clinton), Dylan Coleman, Tiffany Shelton (Landon Nill), Jessica Shelton (Austin Brown), Caitlin Shelton (Nelson Maxwell), Amber Winkleman, Kimberly Winkleman, Michael Winkleman, Courtney Winkleman and BriAwna Winkleman; his great grandchildren, Karmann Maxwell, Alexa Doughman, Rayna Doughman, Shayla Hamilton and Bayleigh White; and his sisters, Edna May Pennington of Sandy Hook and Evalena Ratliff of Morehead, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
