With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Rainsberger of Wilmington, Ohio, born in Ostrander, Ohio, who passed away on May 9, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Pounds and Jesse 'Russell Pounds; her husband Rev. Lynn C. Rainsberger; her sons, Ray Rainsberger, Ben Rainsberger and Mark Rainsberger; and her siblings, Ralph L. Pounds and Martha Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Rainsberger (Susan Koenig) and Doris (Brian Stritenberger); her grandchildren, Keri Rainsberger, Karl Rainsberger, Dustin Rainsberger, Seth Rainsberger, Kayli Johnson (Jonathan), Heather Jobson (Bradey) and Richard Wilcox; and also, Karen Rainsberger and Kathy Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to The American Cancer Society and the Wilmington United Methodist Church.
