He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Lucille Benlehr; his parents, Frederick Benlehr and Jessie Sliker Benlehr; his son Edward Allen Benlehr; his sisters, Jenny West and Rosemary Hovatter; and his grandson Matthew Cornett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Kay Cornett (Bruce) of Wilmington, Judy Spurlock of Clarksville and Teresa Benlehr of Wilmington, Ohio; his grandchildren, Christopher Cornett of Wilmington, Stephanie K. Bennington (Terri) of Bellbrook, Kenneth Spurlock (Rachelle) of Clarksville, Allisee Moore (Richard) of Goshen, Carisa West (Jerry) of Martinsville, Jason Benlehr of Arizona, Jeremy Benlehr of Arizona, Seana Benlehr of Arizona and Josh Benlehr of Arizona; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Cornett, Lauren Cornett, Tyler Crutchleo, Abbigail Crutchleo, Geoffrey Crutchleo, Cheyanne Krohn, Michael Krohn, Quintin Spurlock, Gryphon Farris, Freya Moore and Austin West.
