With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Franklin D Simpson of Wilmington, Ohio, born in Barbourville, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Simpson and Margaret Carmackel Hamilton; his wife Wilma Ruth Wisecup Simpson; his siblings, John O. Simpson, Marie Davis and Jackie Worley; his stepsiblings, Jimmy Simpson and Louise Goodin; and his stepchildren, Sharon K. Akens, Gary W. Lehman and David T. Lehman.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Salmon (Butch) of Warner Robins, GA; his stepdaughters, Diana Tamplin (Jack) of Wilmington, OH and Joyce Wickert (Greg) of Riverton; his sister Beulah West; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Jean Stanforth of Wilmington, OH and Catherine Wisecup of Troy, OH. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; and numerous nieces & nephews.
