He was predeceased by: his father Charles Moore, Jr.; his grandmother Marie Tuggle (Moore); and his stepfather Jeffery A. Smith. He is survived by: his mother Cindy Smith (Camp) of Wilmington; his fiancée Sheila Cunningham of Wilmington; his children, Josh Moore of Cincinnati, Ashley Smith of Wilmington, Mariah Moore of London, Zack Smith of Wilmington and Cheyenne Moore of London, Kentucky; his granddaughter Sadie Davis of Wilmington; and his sisters, Melissa Moore of Wilmington and Christine Davis (Arnold "Boo") of Wilmington. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
