He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Munzer and Erma Emerson Darkes. He is survived by: his daughter Lori Munzer Forth (Todd) of Springboro, Ohio; his sister Grace Everett of Saginaw, Michigan; his grandson Jared Rhoads; and his brother Bill Munzer.
