He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cordrey and Vadah Titus Cordrey; his son Dale W. Cordrey; and his sister Phyllis Cordrey. He is survived by: his wife Alice J. Kirkpatrick Cordrey; his children, D. Wayne Cordrey Jr. (Kim) of Sabina, Duane D. Cordrey (Carol) of Mount Airy and Jean Ann Cloud (Todd) of Springboro, Ohio; his siblings, Darryl Cordrey (Beth) of Urbana, Ohio, Viola Bishop of Bellefontaine, Dolores Messner of Winston Salem and Sharon Gootee (Bob) of Lake Placid, Florida; and his grandchildren, Rachel Cordrey (Joey Woodgear), Matt Kibler (Allie), Trenton Cordrey, Cordell Cordrey (Katie), Elisabeth Cordrey, Braden Cordrey, Derek Cloud, Camden Vinup (Emily) and Cara Vinup. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
