He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burton and Marian Sewell Burton; his siblings, Kenneth James Burton and Dorothy Scott; and his brother-in-law Dale Minton.
He is survived by: his wife Janice M. Jordan Burton; his daughters, Brenda Kay Burton, Kathy Sue Buckland, Karen Ann Burton and Karla June Corzatt (Travis); his siblings, Gerald S. Burton (Shirley) and Ruby Minton; and his grandson James Buckland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
