He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ralston and Mary Ann Drake (Fiorentino); his wife Sandra J. Drake (Lake); and his brothers, Robert and Thomas Drake.

He is survived by: his children, David Scott Drake (Nicole) of Wilmington and Holly Louderback (Shane) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Nicole Drake, Madison Taylor Drake and Ebon Louderback; his great grandchild Lakeleigh Nicole; and his siblings, Steve Drake, James Drake (Donna), Daniel Drake (Cindy), Patrick Drake (Bonnie), Timothy Drake (Jennifer), Julie Watkins (Kenneth), Rebecca Lephart (John) and Marianne Rohmr. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
