He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy D. "Dottie" Gasaway; his parents, Thomas Gasaway and Rose Brown Gasaway; his son Jack Gasaway (Charlotte) of Wilmington; his sisters, Wanda Williamson of Norwood and Mary Lewis of Dayton, Ohio; his grandchildren, Michael Gasaway (Rhonda), Kimberly Spears (Scott), Steve Gasaway (Kara), Rick Gasaway (Cheyenne) and Kyle Gasaway (Kylee); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Gage, Addisyn, Kyndel, Rashauna, Dakota and Noel; his son Ronald L. Gasaway; and his siblings, Thomas Gasaway Jr., Harold Gasaway, Clayton Gasaway, Helen Sprague and Virginia Silvey.
