She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas and Virgil; her former husband Wilson Gilbert; her husband Jim Wilks; and her siblings, Tommy Rooks, Shirley Thorp and Vera Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, David Gilbert (Patricia), Steven Gilbert, Michael Gilbert, Ronald Gilbert, Joyce Toppin, Brenda Baker (Seven) and Vickie Roark (Troy); and her siblings, Bob Rooks and Helen Applegate. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, private services will be held for the family at the Vale-Hoskins Funeral Home, Morrow with Reverend Tim Bradshaw officiating and interment following in Morrow Cemetery.
