It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter L. Hirschy of Willshire, Ohio, who passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hirschy and Esther E. Hirschy (Schelby); his wife Virginia E. Wolfe; his son Blaine D. Hirschy; his daughter-in-law Rita Hirschy; his granddaughter Rachel R. Hirschy; and his siblings, Robert Hirschy, Patricia Carroll-Hawkins and Alice Ross.
He is survived by: his sons, Monte L. Hirschy of Huntington, Brian Hirschy (Sandra) of Ohio City, Myron A. Hirschy of Ft. Lauderdale and Dennis D. Hirschy of San Antonio, Texas; and his siblings, James Hirschy (Karen) of Woodburn, Larry Hirschy (Sandy) of Convoy, Ohio, Barbara Sheets of Decatur and Catherine Colter of Paulding, Ohio. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
