With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Young Ja Kong of Willowick, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Young Ja left this world on April 22, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. As Young Ja departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Young Ja. Though Young Ja may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Byung Ki; her children, Soon Duk, Chang Bae and Yeon Bae; and her grandchildren, Kuhyuk, Joonhyuk, Yelin and Woohyuk.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ripepi Funeral Home (5762 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, OH 44129). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Cleveland Korean Presbyterian Church (4839 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109).
