He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Rose; his former wife Rita; and his siblings, Robert and Joan Destro (Joann).
He is survived by: his daughters, Maria Rutherford (Andy) and Debbie Slovenec (Rick); his grandchildren, Adam Rutherford (Kelly), Valerie, Derek and Adrian Slovenec; and his great grandchildren, Austin and Chase Rutherford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
