She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Brodnik and Josephine Brodnik; and her sister Eileen Brodnik. She is survived by: her husband Jack M. Godinich; her daughters, Sue Hyde (Jim), Jill Piazza and Jacklyn Czekaj (Justin); and her grandchildren, Sean, Troy Hyde, Angelina Piazza, Isabel and William Czekaj. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.

In honor of Joan her family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve or St. Mary Magdalene Church.
