He is survived by: his sons, George Merritt, Jr., Tim (Nancy), Michael (Michelle), Jamie Rath and Matthew (Nicole); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Melissa, Leah, Michael Jr., Jack, Sam and Mateo; his sister Betty Tramte; and his pets, Gizmo and Princess. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and family.
