With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony J. Matijevic (Willowick, Ohio), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy Matijevic; his daughters, Ava and Mia; his parents, Stijepan Matijevic and Luca Matijevic; his sister Mariana Vazdar (Tomislav); his sister-in-law Renata Vodopic (Mario); his mother-in-law Anka Jurcevic (late Stjepan); his nephews, Tomislav, Kristian and Lukas; and his niece Darija.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations (35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Divine Word Catholic Church (8100 Eagle Rd, Willoughby, OH 44094).

In lieu of flowers, the family would gratefully appreciate donations to support the future well-being and education of his young children.
