She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Taylor and Nellie Vanhoose Taylor; and her siblings, Buford Taylor Jr., Carl Taylor, Anna Bonice and Mary Chillders.
She is survived by: her husband Leeman H. Shepherd; her son Randy Shepherd (Kimberly); her grandsons, Sheldon and Chandler Shepherd; and her brothers, James, Leo and Charlie Taylor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
