He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Schultz and Howard Schultz; his stepmothers, Doris and Marjorie; his stepsisters, Susan Creed and Beth Russell; and his parents-in-law, Paul and Sylvia Matko.

He is survived by: his wife Ann (Matko); his children, William David (Melissa), Jennifer Mikolic (Edward) and Karen Sipols (Matthew); his grandchildren, Jonathan and Abigail Schultz; his brother Robert; his stepbrother Thomas Ehlert (Christine); and his aunt Phyllis Ruppert. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Foundation, 37728 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, OH 44094.
