He was predeceased by: his parents, William John Bayer Sr. and Florence Bayer (Bilger); his significant other Julia Ann Bayer (Toreki); his daughter Theresa Johnson (Bayer); his daughter-in-law Lori Bayer (DiCarlo); and his sisters, Florence Evelyn Bayer and Ruth Elizabeth Sereno (Bayer).
He is survived by: his son Bradley Bayer; his sister Mona Jane Stropkey (Bayer); his son-in-law Milton Johnson; his grandchildren, Kerry Willman (Brandon), Kevin Johnson (Kate) and Kelsey Daubert (Bill); and his great grandchildren, Julia, Jackson, Joel, Laurel, Charlotte, Kennedy, Kiera, Kade, Lillian and Rowan.
