He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest and Frieda; his wife Sue Schmidt; his children, Dr. Heidi Szugye (Matthew) and Eric Schmidt; his grandchildren, Claire, Caroline and Jack Szugye; and his brother Kenneth Schmidt.
Due to Covid-19, optional visitation will be limited to 10 people at a time, indoors, and socially distanced, with the family receiving friends outdoors at the front entrance of the funeral home.
