It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil O. Gibson of Willoughby, Ohio, born in Pennington Gap, Virginia, who passed away on November 12, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gibson and Charlie Bob Gibson; his son Brian Berlin; his siblings, Ray Gibson, Roy Gibson, Leonard Gibson, Wanda Armentrout and Joyce Ely; and his granddaughter Vanessa Dore.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna L. Gibson; his children, Brandon Gibson (Caitlin), Ronda Waid (William), Robin Simek (Thomas) and Daniel Gibson; and his sisters, Jaime Rickers (Dick), Edith Linkous, Linda Meadows and Caroline Gibson. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, his eighteen great grandchildren.
