She was predeceased by: her husband Ivan; her great grandchild Liam; her parents, Joseph Stepec and Josephine Stepec; and her siblings, Slavko Stepec, Lojze Stepec, Mirko Stepec, Mara Hren (Frank), Ciril Stepec (Ursula), Tone Stepec (Martina), Ani Zajec (Karl) and Franci Stepec.
She is survived by: her children, Mark (Martina), Dr. Bernadette Jakomin and Judy Suydam (Rick); her grandchildren, Kristina Jackson (Bruce), John Jakomin (Sara), Katie and Brian Suydam; her great grandchildren, John, Teddy and Amalia; and her sister Josephine Kastelic (late Joseph). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Mary's Church or Catholic Mission Aide, 15519 Holmes Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44110 in memory of Vida Jakomin.
