She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Kommer and Sara Kommer; and her husband Howard W. McDanel. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Nieman (Stephen), Valerie (Wayne Regan), Patricia, Connie Vasileff (Jim) and Margie Hurrle (Jim); her grandchildren, Tom Needs, Chris Needs, Jim Vasileff Jr., Eric Svonavec and Shelly Svonavec; and her sister-in-law Earla Kommer. She is also survived by her nine great grandchildren.
