He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Parkin and Mabel Parkin; and his son-in-law Dale Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Tom Parkin (Linda), Christy Brettrager (Tony) and Lisa Thompson; his grandchildren, David, Jeremy, Jim (Amber), Nick, Stacey, Daniel (Cheryl) and Joshua (Becky); his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Henry, Jacob, Kenzie, Maddie, Conner, Charlotte, Savannah, Sierra, Austin and Hudson; his great great grandchild Kiylah; and his siblings, Eugene, Alvin, Harold, Kenneth, Tommy, Milton, Jeannette and Barbara. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
