He is survived by: his wife Mary Durdak (Valenty); his children, Richard Durdak Jr., David Durdak (Lee Anne), Mark Durdak and Andrea Vetovitz (Don); his grandchildren, Richard Durdak III (Alyssa), Keri Durdak, Michael Durdak, Mackenzie Durdak, Andrew Vetovitz and Evan Vetovitz; his great grandchildren, Richard Durdak IV and Braelyn Durdak; and his siblings, Robert Durdak (Rita) and Kris Nyce. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
