He was predeceased by: his parents, Ord Smith and Maxine Smith (Herald). He is survived by: his children, Robin Smith, Rick Smith and Kay Randall; and his siblings, Roger Smith, Rita Boyle (Dennis) and Diane Mayne (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
