She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Joyce Saxe (Merlin) and Leon Gates (Marquita); her grandchildren, Deborah Mitchell, Theresa Petersen, Patricia Wintle (Mark), Sue Wyant, Jeremy Gates (Kimberly), Michelle Newland (Heston), Sherry Edwards (Art) and Jacob Gates (Melissa); her brother Charles Vallone; her husband Leon Gates; her parents, Phillip Vallone and Louise Vallone (Linhart); and her siblings, Frank, Otto Vallone, Emily Parker and Louise Iavarone. She was also cherished by 26 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
