She was predeceased by: her daughter Karen Pompei (Tom); her parents, Frank Uhlir and Anna Uhlir; and her sister Shirley West. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Malecek; her sons, Ken Malecek (Kathy) and Keith Malecek; and her grandsons, Kevin and Kurt (Tiffany Cannon).
