He was predeceased by: his mother Edna; his sister Jane Gregg; his father Oscar John Schierloh; his pet Skipper; and his close friend Bubbles.

He is survived by: his children, Jay (Stacey), Jackie and Tim (Teri). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
