He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Grinnell and Lee D. Grinnell. He is survived by: his wife Susan (Russell); his daughter Stacey O'Brien (Cindy McKnight) of Novelty; his grandson Connor of Cleveland; his son John (Kim); his grandsons, Matthew, William and Henry of Clarksville, MD; his son Brian (Bridget DeCrane) of Columbus, OH.; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Stocklas of Austinburg, OH, Betty Brede of Mentor and Charles "Pete" Russell (Sandra) of Randolph Center, VT. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
