He was predeceased by: his wife Caroline M. Hoffert; his granddaughter Sofia Hoffert; and his parents, Emil Hoffert and Rose Hoffert. He is survived by: his sons, Richard A. Hoffert, Michael A. Hoffert and Kenneth A. Hoffert; and his sister Rosemary Habek (Richard). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
